Close to a thousand fans greeted the Whites in the Catalan city.

Real Madrid are now in Barcelona, where they will play the Clásico in the Camp Nou on Sunday (9pm CET). The team's arrival resulted in an eruption of passion from the Madrid supporters. More than 600 fans gave the Whites a rapturous welcome in the El Prat airport. The players responded to the numerous displays of support by signing autographs.

They were then travelled to the Fira Center hotel, where they will remain until the game. There they were met by another large group of fans that also wanted to see the team up close and wish the players luck ahead of the match in the Camp Nou.

Real Madrid are in action at the Camp Nou on matchday 28 of La Liga.
